Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.

The Carelon Global Solutions Client Development Director is responsible for managing external clients across several of our digital operations and technology transformation offerings.
How You Will Make an Impact
Develop strategies and execute plans to identify target and ensure clients achieve goals in growth profitability retention and strategic value.
Sells the CGS value proposition to assigned clients.
Provides consultative subject matter expert information on the suite of products offered by CGS.
Works with the CGS Solution Teams to design and implement CGS solutions to seize unique cost savings and quality improvement opportunities for clients
Leads client account implementation service to ensure their recognition of value and satisfaction with CGS services.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Understands the issues specific to the client and apply knowledge insight and experience into strategic recommendations.
Understands the business processes that the CGS solutions support.
Guides sales support messaging and materials and leads account planning and renewal strategy.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS in health care related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience in account management sales and/or operations in the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences
A successful track record of managing clients with offshore business operations and technology services for leading healthcare companies is strongly preferred.
MBA preferred.
A successful track record of selling specialty care/benefit management services and technology for leading healthcare companies to target customers is strongly preferred.
