Senior Principal Systems Engineer
Responsible for ensuring the system has clearly defined requirements at all levels with proper verification and validation methods of the system with documentation available to show system design and functionality prior to its release into operations.
Provide technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases
Decompose requirements define system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
Support Architecture Design Integration and Test of the System to ensure the system is verified and validated prior to release into Operations
Lead a team in support of all phases of Systems Engineering software development.
Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience as a lead Systems Engineer in a software development environment.
TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a Polygraph after start.

Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence JIRA)
Experience with Systems Architecture
Experience with development Linux Operation system
Experience with Agile development methodology
Experience in Cyber Security
Experience with Containerization usage in DevOps
Cloud data storage environment
Experience with automated Space Payload Mission Management and Planning
Experience with Python scripting
Experience in a large software lifecycle development
