Description:
You will be the Electronic Assembler Technician for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Grand Prairie TX. Our team is responsible for fabrication and assembly of a variety of harness cable and circuit card assemblies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electronic Assembler Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Fabricate modify repair electrical/electronic systems sub-assemblies and cable/harnesses.
May completely assemble components and jumper wiring on printed wiring harness boards and other electronic sub-assemblies with the use of Production Planning instruction sheets tools and shop aids.
Prepare other components such as front panel hardware and install on sheet metal assemblies prepare wiring for installation in sub-assemblies
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to work from schematics blueprints or wiring diagrams.
- Ability to use wire strippers soldering irons crimpers multimeters meggers or heat guns.
- Ability to work to harness boards. Able to use soldering irons wire strippers crimpers multimeters meggers and heat guns.
- Fabricate sub-assemblies for harness.
- Ability to use wire banding equipment.
Desired Skills:
- Harness/Cable wiring skills
- Ability to verify electrical/electronic systems
- Troubleshooting skills using wiring diagrams.
- Experience with Soldering of microelectronic components SMT and Conformal coating.
- J-STD certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day 3 days off per week
