Core Duties:
- Delivering and Picking Up Parts:
The primary function is to transport parts equipment and other supplies to and from the dealership and various customer locations.
- Loading and Unloading:
Assisting with loading and unloading parts from the delivery vehicle ensuring parts are secured and handled safely.
- Route Management:
Using navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes ensuring timely deliveries.
- Documentation:
Maintaining detailed delivery logs including tracking parts signatures and any issues encountered during delivery.
- Customer Interaction:
Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner addressing any questions or concerns.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
Performing routine vehicle maintenance checks such as oil levels and tire pressure and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Safety:
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures including pre- and post-trip safety checks.
- Handling Cash and Reconciling Invoices:
May be responsible for handling cash transactions and reconciling invoices to ensure accurate billing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License:A clean and valid drivers license is essential.
- Safe Driving Record:Demonstrates a safe and responsible driving record.
- Customer Service Skills:Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers.
- Communication Skills:Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
