RESPONSIBILITIES:

The person in this position:

Will be responsible for the financial operation of Dold and Alma manufacturing.
Prepares accurate financial operating statements reflecting current profitability by department.
Coordinates and prepares Dold and Alma annual operating plan and reforecasts.
Supervises and leads local finance staff including the payroll accounting function.
Ensures compliance with Hormel policies.
Protects all company assets atDold and Alma including such assets as cash building equipment raw materials supplies and finished products at all stages of the process.
Supervises and monitors the internal flow of production records and the establishment and maintenance of all products standard costs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

Bachelors degree with an emphasis or major in the fields of accounting or finance.
Successful employment in a management/leadership position in an accounting audit finance or treasury function.
Pattern of initiative and leadership.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills.

Preferred

Operational accounting experience.
Familiarity with Oracle QAD and AS400 systems.
CMA CPA or CIA certification or actively working towards certification.

LOCATION:Wichita KS

A comprehensive relocation package to the Wichita KS area will be offered if needed.

TRAVEL:10% of the time

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Plant Controller role is between$103125 - $144375per year and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
