Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join its clients Blackburn with Darwen team on a locum basis. This role focuses on delivering essential community-based assessments and interventions for individuals requiring equipment provision as well as minor and major adaptations to support independence safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community assessmentsin a local authority setting identifying needs and recommending equipment solutions
- Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptationsto enhance safety and functionality within clients homes
- Collaborate with clients families and professionalsto create tailored support plans
- Maintain accurate recordsin line with professional and legal standards
- Complete manual handling assessmentsand ensure safe practices
Requirements
- HCPC Registrationand relevant Occupational Therapy qualifications
- Experience within a local authority setting
- Proficiency in manual handling assessments
- Strong knowledge of equipment provision and home adaptations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS clearance
