ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Feeding & Milling Hand at the Pinegrove Feedlot you will play a key role in the successful operation of the feedmill and the delivery of quality rations to livestock. The key responsible are:
- Obtaining regular flake samples to ensure quality metrics align with nutritional standards;
- Undertaking general repairs and maintenance to milling infrastructure (greasing hanger bearing and minor maintenance repairs);
- Undertaking ration sample collection and data entry
- Feed truck operation and ancillary supporting equipment;
- Loader operation for batching and commodity operations;
- Heavy equipment operator (hay processing).
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will bring
- Experience operating heavy machinery (Loaders Trucks hay processing etc.
- Demonstrated skill ability and experience in batching accuracy liquid storages and dispensing feed accuracy and consistency
- A focus on working safely
- An ability to work cooperatively with a team
- Demonstrated effective verbal and two way communication
