Job Summary

Position Summary

The Part-Time Welder will weld military grade HVAC/R components and housings made from carbon steel stainless steel or aluminum. This position will be responsible for the set-up and operation of welding equipment. Specific responsibilities include:

Set-up and operate spot welder and TIG welder
Follow engineering drawings to ensure accurately fabricated parts
Suggest processes and operations to produce the best possible results
Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications
Use hand and power tools to grind shape smooth and blend seams
Maintain clean and safe work environment

Position Requirements

US Citizenship required due to strict ITAR regulations
High school diploma or Equivalency required
3 years of experience in TIG welding
Candidates will be required to demonstrate their welding ability
Must be able to read engineering drawings with knowledge of welding symbols
Advanced math skills preferred
Must be adaptable to changing direction and job priorities quickly
Ability to work with limited supervision
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
