Job Summary
1) Job Purpose |
To lead Design Function for Façade business including Structural & Estimation at an All India basis also projects in UAE. |
2) Job Context & Major Challenges: | |
Job Context:Indian façade market is growing fast YoY and developers are opening up to system houses replacing bespoke solutions. Eternia is one of the main players in system supply and is recognized for the support extended tp all the parties during early stage and project execution. Job Challenges: Indian façade ecosystem is highly unorganized and operates under high pressure of delivery. There is a general lack of proper information and coordination among the main stakeholders. Approvals are normally sensibly delayed but execution timelines are expected to be maintained. | |
3) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities: | |
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities | Supporting Actions |
Manage new product development | Deliberate on best techno/commercial solution for the specific application. Integrate new design with existing products. Optimize the number of SKUs. |
Drive system design | Develop drawing for new profile dies gaskets and hardware. Check fitments between profiles and hardware. Define design corrections wherever required. |
Coordinate with supply chain for new products procurement material procurement | Identify suitable hardware available with vendors. Scout new vendors for new products and shortlist those suitable for the specific scope. |
Support sales operations | Suggest the best solution for new projects among those available within the standard products. Prepare concept solutions for new projects. Attend meetings either online or in person to support the sales team. |
Coordinate concept drawings and shop drawings engineering and estimation for multiple projects simultaneously | Review correct and approve drawings. Ascertain engineering reports are aligned with drawings. |
Coordinate with all the stakeholders and manage project execution | Overview project execution plan making sure deliverables are submitted as per schedule. Follow up with SC and vendors to deliver material on time guarantee fabricators receive all required information on due date to perform fabrication and installation without delay |
