Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial strategy and operations of the asset management company ensuring sustainable growth profitability and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves leading financial planning risk management and reporting while driving strategic initiatives to optimize asset performance and shareholder value. The CFO will collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with organisational objectives fostering transparency and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the organisations financial strategy ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
- Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial reporting to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors stakeholders and regulatory bodies ensuring transparency and trust.
- Monitor and optimize the financial performance of asset portfolios driving profitability and sustainable growth.
- Mentor and lead the finance team fostering a culture of accountability innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
- 1520 years experience in finance accounting or asset management with at least 7 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field; a Masters degree (e.g. MBA) or professional certification (e.g. CFA CPA ACA) is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in financial planning analysis and risk management within the asset management industry.
- Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills with a track record of driving financial performance.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations compliance and reporting standards in asset management.
- Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that deliver measurable results and support long-term organisational growth.
- Must be willing to relocate
