Job Summary
We are looking for professional qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of an IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support in our Munich/Planegg office.
The scope of responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems
- IT support operations including but not limited to receiving and tracking user requests assigning priority and responsible persons resolving requests and users notification
- Installation configuration maintenance and upgrades of desktop computer systems and peripherals (e.g. network cards printers modems mice add-in boards copiers etc.)
- Asset management of desktop computer systems (hardware and software inventories licensing systems decommissioning etc.)
- Documentation of system problems and resolutions
- Providing basic IT training to PSI staff
Qualifications :
- College Degree preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in IT
- Full working proficiency in English and German
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) training is a plus
- Related experience in systems and network administration
- Knowledge of basic systems administration tools and processes
- Ability to plan multitask and work in a dynamic team environment
- Advanced communication collaboration and problem-solving skills
