Project context
We are seeking a six month to 2 years experience SAP functional technician that will be responsible for the day-to-day management monitoring and support of SAP users. This role focuses on incident management troubleshooting monitoring escalation and performing non-regression test.
Objectives of this role
Provide level 1 support in the areas of SAP with basic knowledge of transaction codes
Provide technical support training and troubleshooting to end-users for SAP.
Should be able to monitor the SAP jobs in SM35 SM35 and Idoc processing etc
Basic bug fix and troubleshooting of failed jobs
Re-run of the jobs which are ended up in error
Collaborate with clients to make them understand of SM and level 1 activities
Perform Non regression testing during the monthly releases.
Education and experience
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
0.5 -2 years of experience in supporting SAP functional areas.
Functional Knowledge of SAP FICO/MM/SD/PP/QM/EHS/LE/PM and other major modules.
Interface knowledge with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
ITIL certification
Skills and behavioural competencies
Relevant certifications like SAP Certified Technology Associate and SAP Certified Development Associate.
Aware of the latest SAP technologies tools and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work individually and collaborate with a team.
