Manager Finance JR - Operations

Job Description Summary

Responsible for overseeing the companys tax compliance accounting processes and treasury operations. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial records full regulatory compliance and the efficient management of cash flow and financial resources. The manager will also play a strategic role in financial planning business support and decision-making aligned with the companys objectives.
Additionally this role is responsible for managing and ensuring the proper execution of operations located in Curitiba São Paulo and Minas Gerais.

Job Description

Tax

Lead all tax compliance activities including the calculation and filing of direct and indirect taxes (IRPJ CSLL PIS COFINS ICMS ISS etc.);

Supervise the preparation and submission of ancillary obligations (ECD ECF SPED Fiscal/Contributions);

Ensure the company remains up to date with tax legislation changes and assess their operational impacts.

Coordinate responses to tax audits inspections and regulatory inquiries;

Oversee and ensure full tax compliance for operations in Curitiba São Paulo and Minas Gerais;

Monitor and manage ongoing tax proceedings and administrative cases and resolve pending issues registered in the Federal Revenues e-CAC system.

Lead the analysis and implementation of the new Brazilian tax reform ensuring full adaptation to upcoming regulatory and operational changes.

Accounting

Manage monthly and annual financial closing processes.

Ensure the accuracy of journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements;

Oversee compliance with accounting standards (BR GAAP and US GAAP);

Support internal and external audits ensuring proper documentation and controls;

Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures in line with regulatory standard and business changes.

Treasury

Supervise daily cash management payment processing and bank reconciliations.

Manage cash flow forecasts short-term investments and funding needs.

Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for loans investments and foreign exchange operations.

Oversee credit and collection policies to optimize working capital.

Lead treasury budgeting including annual planning and periodic cash flow debt and expense forecasting.

Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts providing insights to support financial decisions and optimize cash usage.

Required Skills and Education

Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting; CRC active;

Extensive experience in Tax Accounting and Treasury within medium to large companies.

Deep knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and accounting standards.

Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle Totvs XPPS);

Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities.

Advanced English required.
