Located in Lakewood Colorado St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20000 sign-on bonus!*
To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions apply. Apply to chat with a recruiter about the details!

- The schedule for this position is three 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends(7pm-7am)
- We offer a $5.75/hr night shift differential from 11pm to 7am!
4thFloor Medical Surgical:
The 4th Floor Medical Surgical unit at St. Anthony Hospital an achieved Magnet hospital is a medical/surgical telemetry unit of 36 beds and is primarily a telemetry unit with medical/surgical overflow. Our typical patient population includes heart failure pre and post-cardiac catheterization abnormal arrhythmias vascular surgery TAVRs ablations and other cardiac patients. Our mission is to provide the highest level of quality patient-centered and safe care to all patients who come through our doors while also creating an atmosphere that is fun exciting and engaging to work in. We foster a positive team environment through regular team-building activities celebrate successes with monthly recognition events and encourage professional growth through continuing education opportunities.
Working on the 4th floor of the hospital provides nurses with an environment that is team-focused supportive and adaptable to the changes in healthcare. We seek individuals who have a vested interest in our department and its mission. Candidates must possess a positive attitude effective communication skills and be hardworking dedicated and accountable.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:
- Facilitating communicating and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote the optimal health well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care organizational mission and core values.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified nursing candidates will need the following:
Education Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates preferred for experienced RNs
Experience Requirements
- One year experience preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
Licenses/Certification Requirements
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Physical Requirements
- Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
