Location: Monterrey CDMX or Guadalajara (Hybrid 3 days per week at Infosys Office)
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join one of our Scrum Teams on the Cloud Data Analytics Platform team. Data Analysts on our team gather and interpret data to solve specific problems and uncover key insights that enable better-informed decision-making. They work closely with Data and System Architects and Product Owners to profile data define transformations of raw data into curated datasets for integrations statistics and analytical insights.
Key Responsibilities
Use automated tools to extract and gather data from primary and secondary sources.
Map and model data including defining storage structures relationships and data appearance.
Identify and interpret corrupted or incomplete data; prepare reports to communicate patterns or trends.
Develop and maintain AWS data systems to support ingestion pipelines and Lakehouse Architecture.
Perform analysis to assess data quality and meaning in test and production environments.
Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct errors.
Collaborate with programmers engineers and management to identify process improvements propose system modifications and devise data governance strategies.
Communicate findings to stakeholders using charts graphs and reports.
Required Technical Skills
Ability to query databases using SQL.
Knowledge of database systems: PostgreSQL AWS Athena/S3 Parquet format Redshift.
Understanding of data models in normalized form and star schema.
Familiarity with Python Tableau Prep Tableau AWS SageMaker (preferred).
Understanding of statistics and data science concepts (preferred).

Critical Thinking: Logical approach to problem-solving and data-driven decisions.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in analysis and ability to spot anomalies.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving: Develop solutions to business challenges using data insights.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within a Scrum team sharing progress and ideas.
