Salary Range: $80000 $100000 / Year DOE
Fuel Systems Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:
Lead turnkey fuel system projects from planning through commissioning and closeout
Verify system designs: tanks pumps piping filtration dispensers controls
Conduct onsite visits for quality checks milestone verification and issue resolution
Manage permitting compliance documentation and regulatory priorities
Interpret P&IDs blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and software system issues
Oversee testing calibration and commissioning activities
Create and maintain project schedules with labor and equipment plans
Monitor progress change orders daily reports and productivity metrics
Work with purchasing to source pumps controls sensors piping and fittings
Validate structural and material submittals to meet NFPA EPA UL and API compliance
Maintain RFIs MOPs JHAs and closeout packages
Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders
Track budgets cost exposure and revenue forecasting
Enforce safety standards and site compliance
Fuel Systems Technical Project Manager Requirements:
2 years of technical project management experience involving fuel systems
Deep working knowledge of tank systems pumps valves piping and leak detection
Ability to read and apply engineering drawings P&IDs and system schematics
Proven success leading site crews subcontractors and vendors
Strong cost control and scheduling skills
Self-driven resourceful and comfortable with real-time field decisions
Experience with Salesforce preferred
Familiarity with NFPA 30 API UL PEI RP1200 EPA fuel regulations preferred
Estimating experience preferred
