Senior SAP WM-STRM-IM Consultant Freelance

Project Description

You will join a large transformation program aimed at consolidating multiple decentralized SAP ECC systems into a centralized S4HANA environment. Within the Logistics domain you will contribute to the migration and harmonization of logistics processes across various business units and sites. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and other SAP teams to ensure full end-to-end process coverage and support informed decision-making.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP WM-STRM-IM implementation activities within the transformation program.
• Ensure seamless integration of logistics processes with other SAP modules (MM SD PP QM).
• Participate in business-facing activities and facilitate key decision-making processes.
• Prepare structured documentation such as configurations blueprints and technical specifications.
• Perform system testing validation and issue resolution.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Work in both custom-built and template-based SAP environments.
• Support change requests and ticket handling depending on project workload.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior consultants when applicable.

Technical Profile Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM-STRM-IM.
• Demonstrated experience with full-cycle implementations and cross-domain integration.
• Strong skills in documentation and blueprint preparation.
• Debugging capabilities are an asset.
• Familiarity with template-based and custom SAP landscapes.
• Knowledge of SAP EWM is a plus.

Methodology / Certification Requirements

• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• SAP certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Relevant hands-on experience is considered more valuable than certification.

Language Requirements

• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• French: required for the initial project.
• Dutch: preferred.
• Multicultural and international work environment.

Location & Onsite Requirements

• Work across multiple sites in Belgium (Hoboken Brussels and Olen)
• Minimum 3 days onsite per week with mandatory presence on Mondays and Wednesdays at the main site (Hoboken).
• 80% FTE possible (4/5 or full-time).
• Some flexibility may be allowed after the initial phase.

Contract Details

• Start date: ASAP latest by early January.
• Contract runs until the end of 2026.
• Travel may be required (approximately 1020% depending on project needs).
