Job Summary
Saratoga Medical is hiring a Certified Nursing Aide in Fort Dodge KS. Package includes competitive rate paid time off and benefit options.
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Nursing Aide at Fort Dodge KS. This is a great full-time opportunity. Please see qualifications below and submit your resume if you are interested in being considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete medication administration documentation
- Administer oral topical and rectal medications
- Perform treatments including dressing changes accuchecks and enteral nutrition
- Assist with activities of daily living (oral care bathing toileting turning feeding)
- Report unusual resident conditions
- Answer call lights
- Obtain vital signs height and weight
- Turn and reposition residents every two hours
- Record intake and output
- Collect specimens
- Place and remove assistive devices
- Ensure residents are clean dry and comfortable
- Document ADLs
- Maintain a clean and safe room environment
Education & Licenses/Certifications:
- General Education
- Kansas CNA Certification
- Kansas Medication Aide Certification
Minimum Qualifications:
- CNA certification per K.A.R.
- Medication Aide certification per K.A.R.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Good communication skills
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Six months long-term care experience
