Job Summary

Shore seeks an enthusiastic and thoughtful Christian Studies Teacher for a 1-term fixed-period appointment commencing Term 1 2026. This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative department dedicated to cultivating curiosity critical thinking and spiritual development in young people.

As a Christian Studies Teacher you will guide students in exploring Biblical literacy Christian ethics and contemporary religious issues while contributing to a school culture that values excellence humility and service.

To be successful you will:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Christian theology and the ability to teach Christian Studies in a way that is relevant engaging and academically rigorous
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion reflection and independent thinking
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver a coherent and vibrant Christian Studies programme
  • Communicate with professionalism respect and genuine care for student growth and wellbeing
  • Be NESA-accredited and hold a current Working with Children Check
  • Actively support and model the Schools Christian ethos
