About the Role:
A Senior Project Manager/Project Sponsor is required for a high-complexity initiative within the energy and business services domain. The role involves leading strategic project governance ensuring decision readiness and securing alignment between business goals project scope and financial frameworks. The position is based in Solna or Gothenburg.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate project progress and outcomes against the Business Case.
Act as chair of the project steering group.
Challenge and support the definition of project deliverables and cost drivers.
Prepare assessments ahead of TG (tollgate) decisions.
Manage project management documentation and financial decision material.
Recommend or approve TG decisions (if delegated).
Manage strategically important interfaces including internal/external stakeholders and suppliers.
Ensure stakeholder needs and requirements are addressed.
Secure project resources and funding.
Monitor project development progress and risk exposure.
Provide and present decision material to PRB.
Ensure follow-up and compliance with PRB decisions.
Together with the steering group act on recommendations from PAR reviews (if applicable).
Make decisions regarding changes to scope budget timeline and quality within approved limits.
Confirm and approve project closure.
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent preferably in IT.
IPMA B knowledge or certification.
Minimum 10 years of experience in project management with at least 5 years in leadership roles for complex projects.
Strong knowledge of VPMM.
Expertise in multiple specialist fields.
Recognized as a leading authority (thought leader) within at least one specialist area.
Experience in quality assurance of more than five projects/programs.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
