We welcome applicants from all backgrounds including those who have worked in education youth work hospitality customer service or any role that involves supporting people.
You will need:
- Compassion patience and emotional resilience
- A commitment to safeguarding children
- The ability to be a positive role model
- A warm child-centred approach
- Flexibility to work shifts including sleep-ins
- Full driving licence
- Obtain an enhanced DBS Certificate and consent to routine criminal background checks

All staff complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare* if they do not already hold it - we provide full support. Health and Social Care and other equivalent qualifications accepted.
Role
This role is both challenging and hugely rewarding. You will support children through difficult moments celebrate their successes and help create the routines and experiences that shape their future.
- No two days are the same. You will:
- Support children and young people through difficult moments with patience warmth and consistency.
- Build trusting relationships that help them feel safe valued and listened to.
- Create positive experiences from shared meals to days out and everyday routines.
- Work as part of a committed team to deliver therapeutic child-centred care.
Develop skills confidence and resilience that will serve you throughout your career.
