Job Summary:
This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry responsible for providing skilled nursing care patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning. The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and must possess strong communication skills. This position involves floating between units and weekend work as needed.
Location:Lubbock Texas United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Provide Ortho Trauma Care: Post op management blood administration wound vac management
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Minimum two years of hospital home health or hospice care experience
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
- Drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work

Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float between units.
- Weekends required as needed.
- Uniform/Dress: Solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Childrens Hospital (PED Pedi PICU NICU). Womens Services (L&D Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire.
