1.1. Crash Test Lead Engineer
- Execute the full crash test procedure including vehicle preparation installation of sensors measurement devices and dummies as well as operating the crash test system.
- Managing all the operations and activities within the team.
- Perform static measurements weight calibration oil draining/filling painting and application of reference labels before testing.
- Set up high-speed cameras lighting systems and data acquisition equipment to capture the entire testing process.
- Analyze sensor data and video footage assess vehicle structural deformation and evaluate dummy injuries after impact.
- Ensure that all testing procedures comply with international safety standards (FMVSS Euro NCAP AIS etc.).
1.2. Sled Test Lead Engineer
- Prepare and operate the entire sled test process including mock-up vehicle setup sensor and dummy installation according to defined standards.
- Calibrate and configure electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems such as RAST sleds actuators force and acceleration sensors.
- Monitor and record measurement data (acceleration force displacement seat-belt tension airbag deployment etc.) and analyze post-test results.
- Participate in optimizing testing procedures and updating methodologies according to the latest standards to enhance test accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing all the operations and activities within the team.
1.3. Dummies & Sensors Management Lead Engineer
- Prepare inspect and periodically calibrate all dummies and sensors used in testing activities.
- Ensure proper installation positioning and functionality of dummies in each type of test.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysis teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of collected data.
- Manage the calibration room for dummies and electronic devices maintain usage logs calibration schedules and equipment condition reports.
- Stay updated on and apply the latest testing regulations and standards related to dummies (FMVSS Euro NCAP IIHS).
- Managing all the operations and activities within the team.
1.4. Facility and Equipment & Utilization Lead Engineer
- Ensure all testing systems machinery and laboratory facilities operate in a stable safe and efficient manner.
- Perform regular maintenance repairs replacements and adjustments for measurement systems electro-mechanical-hydraulic equipment cameras lighting HVAC chillers pneumatic systems fire protection and electrical systems.
- Support engineers during equipment verification internal calibration or external OEM service operations.
- Develop maintenance plans logs and checklists in compliance with ISO 17025 standards; prepare periodic reports for the Lab Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and international operating standards.
- Managing all the operations and activities within the team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering Electrical & Electronics Engineering Automation or related technical field.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical foundation with advanced data analysis skills.
- Experience in electrical circuit testing electricalelectronic device evaluation and testing of automotive or mechatronic systems.
- Knowledge of sled testing crash testing sensor measurement data acquisition and analysis is highly desirable.
- Proficient in operating high-speed cameras video recording systems and specialized photography equipment.
- Familiarity with video editing image processing software and technical analysis tools.
- Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
- Establish test protocols monitor testing quality and ensure compliance with safety standards and laboratory procedures.
- Coordinate with internal technical departments and present test results clearly to management and international stakeholders.
- Quality & Compliance: High attention to detail and accuracy to ensure proper documentation control and reporting of all tests.
- Knowledge of safety standards and equipment operation procedures in a laboratory environment.
- Experience working under ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 standards is a plus.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in engineering automotive testing safety or technical photography are advantageous.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to present technical reports in a clear and logical manner.
- Language: higher English proficiency (speaking reading writing) for technical documentation and international collaboration.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and technical analysis software.
- Other: Possession of a Category B drivers license is considered an advantage
