  • As a Project Controls Engineering Consultant you will work collaboratively with clients vendors contractors and other Project Farma Team Members to support projects related to biomanufacturing across the entire engineering lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering high quality work forming and maintaining valuable long-term relationships with our clients and continually strengthening your technical and industry knowledge.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We will not sponsor applicants for current or future work visas for this position. This position may require significant travel to support project and business needs. We cannot employ anyone with an invalid drivers license.

Project Farma does not provide relocation assistance. Candidates should be located in (or willing to relocate independently to) Chicago IL or Indianapolis IN.

How will you spend your days as a Consultant Project Controls Engineering

  • Produce key project controls deliverables including:
    o Detailed project schedules using MS Project Oracle Primavera P6 or Smartsheets.
    o Feasibility estimates risks forecasts and What-if scenario analysis
    o Project cost reports and trend analysis
    o Comprehensive weekly and monthly project summary reports for stakeholders.
    o Critical Path Analysis
    o Preparing Agendas leading meetings tracking Risk Actions Issues Decisions for the team.
    o Budget estimates
  • Analyze complex project data and then deliver clear articulate and concise messages in a compelling manner to support decision making.
  • Communicating with 3rd party vendors on behalf of the client to drive to their timelines.
  • Gain a general understanding of Earned Value Analysis and PO management tools.
  • Maintain internal site tools such as site dashboards deliverable trackers etc.
  • Create alignment with cross-functional client departments including Design Construction Validation Manufacturing Quality Supply Chain and Engineering. (Moved to bottom).

Examples of our core services within the life science space include: Capital Project Management (including Project Controls and Scheduling); Facility Management & Builds; Tech Transfers; Validation Life Cycle (including Commissioning and Qualification Process Validation Computer System Validation etc.); GxP Automated Systems; Due Diligence & Business Strategy; Quality Regulatory & Compliance.

Required:
Bachelors Degree in Life Science Engineering Supply Chain Construction Management or related discipline (OR a combination of equivalent work experience in Project Controls cGMP facility start-up project management and/or comparable military experience).
Minimum 5 years of scheduling and/or project controls experience.
Experience with Microsoft Project Primavera P6 and/or Smartsheet necessary.
Willing to be on-site Full-time as client projects require.
Willingness to travel as required to support project and business needs.

At Precision it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
