Description
1st Lake Properties is adding a full-time Collections Admin to assist the Collections Department with efforts to collect past due balances from previous residents. The Collections Admin also serves as a back-up for the front desk/phones in the absence of the Receptionist and the Office Administrative Assistant. The Collections Admin is paid on an hourly basis.
The Collections Admins job duties will include:
- Processing resident move-out files and following up with property management teams to collect missing move-out information and documentation.
- Screening and assisting with collection calls and setting up payments in our collections system.
- Preparing documentation and collection packets for third party attorneys and collections agencies.
- Preparing miscellaneous documentation such as NSF letters late letters and final balance letters.
- Scanning documentation for electronic storage.
- Back-up for the front desk/phones in the absence of the Receptionist and Office Administrative Assistant.
- All other administrative duties as assigned by Collections Director.
Qualifications
Skills and requirements needed to be successful:
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn our in-house collections systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to stay on task and follow up with property management teams on missing move-out documentation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
