Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage assigned key accounts primarily overseas-nominated customers ensuring smooth coordination with overseas agents offices and customers.
Handle enquiries from overseas offices/agents source costs for air/sea freight and inland transportation and provide timely and competitive solutions.
Plan and recommend optimal shipping routes particularly for air/sea freight shipments.
Monitor cargo movements and coordinate with operations to ensure customer requirements are met and deadlines are achieved.
Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with customers and overseas agents to ensure high satisfaction.
Review RFQ conditions align with overseas offices/customers and propose pricing strategies that match market trends and meet business targets.
Collaborate with the Key Account Manager and Managing Director on assignments and customer projects.
Develop and implement internal SOPs tailored to customer requirements ensuring alignment with the operations team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in freight forwarding or related fields
Strong knowledge of air/sea freight (hands-on experience is a plus)
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible working attitude proactive and eager to learn
Good computer literacy (MS Office Excel with basic formulas reporting)
