2 years of Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required And
IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire Preferred And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Labor and Delivery Only 90 Days Required And
IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Labor and Delivery Only 6 Months Required And
NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
What You Will Do
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers.

Work hours: PRN - Nights; 6 shifts in 6 weeks schedule weekends and major/minor holiday requirements. No set schedule coverage needs

17-LDRs (Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms)
4 OR suites
350-400 deliveries per month on average
Separate Antepartum/High Risk OB department
