Position Overview
Join a precision aerospace manufacturing team as aCNC Machinist I where youll operate 3- 4- and 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-tolerance components for the aerospace industry. TheCNC Machinist Iplays a vital role in the companys performance inQuality Cost Delivery Safety and Attitude (QCDSA). This is a hands-on position ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to gain advanced machining experience in aclean safety-focused environment.
Youll work alongside experienced machinists and engineers gaining exposure to cutting-edge equipment and precision machining practices used in aerospace component manufacturing.
Essential Functions
OperateCNC machine tools including 3- 4- and 5-axis mills and lathes.
Read and interpretengineered blueprints and technical drawings.
Perform accurate measurements usingcalipers micrometers and other precision instruments.
Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
Apply problem-solving and machining technical skills to improve part quality.
Comparemachine setup parameterswith setup sheets and specifications.
Follow allsafety and workmanship standardsin a high-precision environment.
Performroutine maintenance and cleaningof equipment.
Maintain accurateproduction maintenance and inspection recordsper AS9100.
Verify conformity of machined parts against specifications.
Deburr partsand ensure smooth accurate edges.
Understand and interpretbasic G-code programming.
Keep work areasclean organized and production-readyat all times.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
CNC machining certificate ortechnical/vocational trainingpreferred.
Experience:
15 years of machining experiencein a manufacturing environment.
Ability toread and interpret blueprints specifications and work instructions.
Skilled inmath and measurement toolssuch as calipers and micrometers.
Familiar withaerospace industry standards(AS9100 preferred).
Computer Skills:
Familiarity withCAD CAM MRP and ERP systems.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Officeapplications.
Personal Attributes:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Other Requirements:
Must belegally authorized to work in the U.S.
Adherence toOSHA ITAR NADCAP ISO9000/AS9100 and FAAstandards.
Internal certifications such asForklift Slings/Cranes or FPV may be required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand walk bend and reach for812 hours per shift.
Lift carry push or pull up to50 lbs regularly.
Tolerate a manufacturing environment withnoise vibration and temperature changes.
Must wearPPE(safety glasses gloves hearing protection).
Work Environment
Production floor environment withmoderate noise levels.
Safety-Sensitive Positionunder Oklahoma law.
