Job Summary

Location: Makati Manila (with periodic travel to Cebu)

Salary Range: PHP (depending on experience and team scale managed)

Role Summary

The company is seeking a highly capable operationally strong Operations Manager to lead production oversight supply chain efficiency quality control and cross-functional coordination for its Cebu-based luxury furniture and accessories manufacturing operations.

This Manila-based role serves as the central management link between the CEO Manila office and the Cebu factoryensuring timely production strict quality standards smooth communication and strong alignment with brand expectations. The position requires deep operational expertise strong leadership presence and hands-on management of complex manufacturing workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Workflow Management

Oversee end-to-end production for three luxury brands.
Coordinate with Cebu factory section heads (wood metal finishing QC packing).
Monitor workloads job orders timelines and ensure production meets schedule commitments.
Implement productivity and efficiency programs including time-study improvements.
Ensure all ordersstandard and custom (SP1/SP2)are accurately documented costed and scheduled.

Quality Control Oversight

Enforce strict multi-stage QC procedures before release.
Upgrade and maintain QC documentation (carcass metal legal cut-outs surface calculations finishing).
Maintain brand-level quality standards for shagreen parchment shell brass and specialty materials.
Lead resolution of defects reworks or QC deviations with factory supervisors.

Operational Systems Digitalization & Process Improvement

Oversee implementation and reinforcement of internal SOPs: production release drawings patterns/molds material allocation and pre-shipment checks.
Strengthen workflow connectivity from Drawing Production QC Packing Shipping.
Streamline communication channels reporting structures and document control.
Lead automation and digitalization initiatives across operations (tracking tools dashboards workflow systems).
Collaborate with leadership on organizational structuring: job levels compressed workweek skills development and training programs.

Supply Chain Logistics & Procurement

Monitor critical inventories (shagreen parchment shell brass wood adhesives fabrics).
Optimize purchasing schedules to reduce lead times and cost.
Oversee logistics and shipmentsprimarily airfreightincluding volumetric reviews and freight cost optimization.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and ensure accurate export end-to-end logistics and supply chain visibility.

People Management & HR Coordination

Oversee manpower planning attendance and staffing levels across departments.
Support training initiatives upskilling programs and internship coordination.
Track and report department performance weekly.
Reinforce adherence to company policies safety guidelines and productivity metrics.

Reporting Communication & Leadership

Submit weekly production QC timeline and bottleneck reports.
Maintain clear structured communication between Manila leadership and Cebu teams.
Present data-driven recommendations to improve production efficiency and cost management.
Directly support the CEO in strategic and operational decision-making.

Business Expansion & Strategic Operations

Contribute to long-term expansion plans for manufacturing capability workforce development and increased production capacity.
Assist in the formulation and execution of growth and expansion strategies.
Support operational scaling initiatives resource planning and new facility considerations (as applicable).

Requirements

710 years of manufacturing operations experience preferably in furniture luxury goods or export manufacturing.
Strong background in logistics supply chain management and procurement.
Proven experience managing large production teams (100 headcount) across multiple departments.
Strong understanding of QC processes production planning supply chain workflow mapping and digitalization of operations.
Experience implementing operational systems automations or digital tools.
Excellent communication skills (English & Filipino) with confidence in dealing with senior leadership daily.
Strong organizational and process enforcement skills.
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and operational dashboards.
Must be open to working onsite full-time in Makati at the home office.

Highly Preferred

Experience in luxury or high-end handcrafted manufacturing.
Familiarity with shagreen shell inlay brass and specialty finishes (an advantage but not required).
Demonstrated success in improving factory workflows reducing defects and restructuring operations.
Experience formulating and executing business expansion plans.
Willingness to travel to Cebu 12x per month.
