Space planning: Determine space requirements and plan the optimal layout for functionality and flow.

Technical drawings: Create detailed blueprints floor plans and specifications using design software like AutoCAD or SketchUp.

Budgeting and cost estimation: Develop project budgets and provide clients with estimates for materials and work.

Material and product selection: Source and select materials furniture lighting color palettes and other decorative items.

Project management: Oversee project timelines coordinate tradespeople and manage project progress to ensure completion on time and within budget.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects engineers contractors and other professionals to ensure the design is feasible and meets all regulations.

Compliance: Research and ensure designs comply with building codes safety regulations and accessibility standards.

Required skills
