Job Summary
- Elmswell Community Primary School

- Salary: 24414 per annum pro rata
- Hours:31.25 hours per week 38 weeks per year (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm)
- Contract: Fixed Term whilst pupil remains in school Required from January 2026

We are seeking to appoint a conscientious and enthusiastic 1 to 1 support assistant to provide support for an individual pupil currently in Key stage 2 to start in January 2026.
You will have:
- experience in helping children to develop positive learning behaviours
- flexibility to adapt duties and responsibilities as per the needs of the pupils in your care
- a sound understanding of the skills required to support childrens needs using positive behaviour strategies
- the ability to use your own initiative and to be flexible
- good English and Maths skills
- an understanding of the barriers children with special educational needs can face and an ability to support them to achieve
The post will be conditional on the pupil remaining in school
