Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Street Name Plate Installer / Groundworker to join our team. The role involves installing street name plates to a high standard across various locations as well as carrying out a range of general groundworks duties.

Key Responsibilities

Install street name plates posts and associated fittings to specification
Carry out excavation and preparation works for sign foundations
Mix and apply concrete for post setting
Ensure all work is completed in line with local authority standards
Assist with general groundworks including reinstatement digging kerbing drainage and site preparation
Maintain safe working practices and follow all site health & safety procedures
Communicate effectively with supervisors and the wider site team

Requirements

Previous experience in sign installation or groundworks
Valid CSCS card (or equivalent)
Confident using hand tools and small plant equipment
Ability to follow drawings measurements and written instructions
Strong health & safety awareness
Full UK driving licence (desirable due to travel between sites)
Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
