ABOUT THE ROLE
Hockey Canada is seeking a strategic and analytical Manager Business Intelligence to drive data-informed decision-making across our organization. This role will be instrumental in generating actionable insights optimizing revenue enhancing fan profiles and supporting cross-departmental reporting needs.
The ideal candidate is experienced in business intelligence passionate about data and eager to play a key role in the continued evolution of how Hockey Canada uses information to fuel growth fan engagement and operational performance.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE OVERALL MISSION OF HOCKEY CANADA
Develop pricing models and predictive analytics for event revenue streams including tickets lotteries auctions etc.
Manage sponsorship licensing digital and social media asset rate cards.
Conduct post-event revenue evaluations to inform future thorough analyses of data past trends and insights to formulate strategic recommendations for to increase growth in revenue and all marketing campaigns.
Lead the development maintenance and enhancement of Hockey Canadas CRM systems and processes.
Enable cross-functional teams to leverage CRM tools for marketing fan engagement and revenue generation.
Oversee data hygiene segmentation strategies campaign tracking and CRM reporting.
Support the ongoing development and refinement of Hockey Canadas 360-degree fan and participant profiles integrating multiple data sources to build holistic views of audiences (fans players parents volunteers).
Deliver data-driven reporting and insights for broadcast performance sponsor activations and marketing campaigns.
Provide stakeholders and partners with clear insightful reports that support relationship management.
Develop and manage internal performance scorecards and dashboards across departments.
Track KPIs department goals and strategic initiatives to support organizational alignment and accountability.
Present quarterly performance updates to department leadership.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
EXPERIENCE YOULL NEED
Post-secondary education in Analytics Statistics or a related field
Minimum 3 years experience in business intelligence including analytics data & statistical analysis marketing insights
Experience with different CRM and marketing automation toolsets
Experience building and automating management level reporting and dashboards
Working knowledge of data visualization tools including Power BI is a plus
Stellar critical thinker with management experience and a willingness to embrace and manage change.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to balance conflicting priorities in order to manage workflow ensure the completion of essential projects and meet deadlines
High level of integrity; earns others trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions
Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs Outlook and ability to quickly adapt to new technology and easily acquire new technical skills
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
