The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting the transfer of manufacturing operations from our Lakeland site which is expected to remain operational through the end of 2026. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow their experience within a global medical

technology leader. This role qualifies for a retention bonus.

What you will do-

  • Responsible for complying with all quality standards and requirements through the development maintenance and application of engineering principles and practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma GMP and statistical methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Lead the transfer of new products design changes and line extensions to the production floor ensuring smooth and compliant implementation.
  • Identify develop and implement process machining and safety improvements across production lines to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
  • Perform failure analysis and drive solutions that improve medical device functionality performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures standard work and visual work instructions to support consistent quality and production performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to team as needed
  • Manage and prioritize engineering projects and team resources to meet operational goals coaching and developing engineers and technicians.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Operations Regulatory R&D and external partners to resolve issues and support compliant cost-effective manufacturing.

What you need-

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or relevant field required
  • 2 or more years of related experience required
  • Experience in the continuous process improvement and applying Lean Manufacturing techniques- preferred
