Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Assignment Type: Travel
Location:Allen TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Unit: Med/Surg
Shift: Nights 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Weekends & Holidays: As needed
Position Overview
A new 10-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit is opening and seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in acute-care Med/Surg Telemetry settings especially caring for post-operative and orthopedic patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients.
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs.
Care for post-operative and orthopedic patients.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate documentation following facility and regulatory standards.
Follow safety and infection control procedures.
Work nights weekends and holidays as required.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
Experience with post-surgical and orthopedic patients required.
Certification & Licensure Requirements
Active RN license (state or compact).
BLS
ACLS
