Job Summary

OVERVIEW

Reporting to Manager of Business Analysis in the Data Management & Program Delivery department the Junior Business Analyst will be integral to the success of our enterprise strategies through various initiatives and playing a pivotal role in the implementation of our business focused & technical projects. Assigned to cross-functional projects you will act as a vital link between business stakeholders and our technical implementation team ensuring the successful alignment of our initiatives with organizational goals. Your keen analytical skills and ability to elicit document and translate business requirements will be crucial in delivering robust and user-friendly solutions.


This is a salaried paid position and requires residency in Canada.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (such as Finance Communications and Operations) to gather and document detailed requirements for technology or other cross-functional related projects and enhancements.
  • Conduct interviews workshops and surveys to collect detailed information on user requirements and workflows.
  • Analyze document and map business processes identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with product project and organizational goals.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements user stories and use cases ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Act as a communication bridge between business users and technical teams translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business value ensuring a focus on critical features and functionalities.
  • Analyze data structures and collaborate with data analysts for accurate data migration and management.
  • Collaborate with the testing team to review and validate test plans participating in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet specified business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of processes providing insights and recommendations based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate with training specialists to develop training materials ensuring end-users understand new systems and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users addressing queries and troubleshooting issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
  • Professional business certifications (ECBA CCBA CBAP PBA) are an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experiences may be considered.

Experience

  • 3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis roles or similar.
  • Proven track record of successful projects implementation.
  • Experience implementing business solutions within environments containing CRM D365 SAP ERP AWS Data Warehouse and other SAAS web applications is strongly preferred.

Knowledge/Competencies/Skills

  • Proficient in requirement gathering analysis and documentation.
  • Experience with data analysis mapping and migration processes.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of business process optimization and workflow analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving project environment.
  • Knowledge of enterprise tools such as SAP Zoho Salesforce or similar is an asset.
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as Monday Asana or Jira is an asset.


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • All CM employees work 40 hours per week remotely from a Canadian home office environment.
  • This is a remote position with a flexible work schedule and periods of uneven workflow. May require periods of extended working hours to meet deadlines during peak business cycle.
  • The incumbent can adapt in a dynamic environment and has tolerance for change as Circular Materials implements its new program obligations.
  • The job demands management of projects across the country and the candidate will be required to support these projects by adapting to multiple time zones when necessary.
