Job Summary

Position will be posted until filled. Hiring managers will actively review applications scheduling interviews and hiring candidates as they see fit.
- Internship focus: Increasing reading proficiency scores.
- Assist with gathering data surveying the community and researching information regarding opportunities to increasing reading proficiency scores.
- Collaborate with the K-5 Grade Librarian and library administration to assess current practices identify gaps and design innovative solutions.
- This role requires strong organizational skills creativity and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning within a public service environment.
- This is a 2026 summer internship.
Minimum Qualifications
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university with an interest in pursuing a career in public libraries. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills be able to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others and have a basic understanding of legal and policy language.
