As UOW undertakes a significant transformation to ensure responsiveness and sustainability in a dynamic higher education landscape we seek a distinguished academic leader to serve as Provost a pivotal appointment within the Universitys Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor and President the Provost will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for the academic enterprise ensuring excellence in teaching research and student outcomes across all faculties. Acting as the standing Deputy to the Vice-Chancellor the Provost will play a critical role in shaping UOWs academic strategy and guiding the next chapter of its evolution.

The successful candidate will champion academic rigour foster innovation in learning and research and lead with integrity and collaboration. They will inspire high performance across faculties promote equity diversity and inclusion and ensure UOW remains agile and future oriented. This role demands visionary leadership exceptional judgement and a nuanced understanding of both Australian and global higher education dynamics. Candidates will bring a distinguished academic record extensive senior leadership experience in research-intensive universities and a proven ability to lead change engage diverse stakeholders and deliver strategic outcomes.
