What you will be doing
We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to uncover insights from data to support data-driven decision making. As a Data Analyst Intern you will be responsible for supporting initiatives such as data analytics reporting and building visualisations and dashboards for business intelligence. This is an excellent opportunity for a curious and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
On a day-to-day basis this means you will:
Assist with data collection cleaning and analysis using SQL Python and Excel.
Support the creation of dashboards and reports to communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
Assist with data visualisation using tools such as Tableau Power BI or Google Data Studio Grafana and Databricks Lakeview.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data initiatives align with business objectives.
Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis and visualisation trends and best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Job requirements
What we are looking for
Required:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools.
Experience with SQL and/or other programming languages such as Python or R.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Creative and innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Good to have:
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or Google Data Studio is a plus.
Experience with data engineering particularly in building reliable data pipelines is a strong plus.
Experience working with large datasets distributed systems and cloud platforms such as AWSGCP Azure is highly beneficial.
