Pediatrician needed in New Orleans LA.

We are seeking a Pediatrician to join this well-established health center. This organization provides comprehensive pediatric medical services to children from birth through adolescence.

Salary and Benefits

$160000 - $190000 (Hourly rate considered for part-time)

Responsibilities

Clinic Hours: Monday Friday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Part time schedule available (3 days/week)
Minimal on-call responsibilities; no hospital duty
Provide comprehensive pediatric care including examination diagnosis treatment planning and coordination with specialists
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures and implement treatment plans
Administer immunizations and conduct preventive screenings
Educate patients and families on health maintenance developmental milestones and preventive care
Respond to patient telephone consults with support from clinic staff

Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency
1 years of pediatric experience preferred
Full unrestricted Louisiana Medical License.
Board Certification/Eligibility: ABP (American Board of Pediatrics)
Active DEA license required (or willingness to obtain)
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
