Job Title: Bilingual Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary: We are a pediatric non-profit organization seeking abilingual scheduling coordinator to join our professional team. The role of thescheduling coordinator is to schedule patient appointments and provideadministrative support services to our providers.

Responsibility/Duties:

Schedule/rescheduleinitial and recurring appointments

Monitor patientattendance

May occasionally berequired to discuss low attendance rates with parents

Patient check outincluding collecting payment and scheduling follow-up visits

Collaborate withauthorization department to monitor authorization deadlines

Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Bilingual inEnglish/Spanish required.Only bilingual candidates will be considered

Excellentcustomer/patient service skills and great phone etiquette

Candidates must beorganized and have the ability to prioritize tasks

Can-do attitude andwillingness to learn new skills and technologies

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School diploma orequivalent

Previous administrativeor clerical experience in a clinical setting

Previous experience asmedical scheduler preferred

Stand; walk;sit; reach with hands and arms; public speaking; hear; see; bend able to lift15 pounds; drive a motor vehicle. Job requires extensive computer use employeemust have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard/mouse andcomputer screen for long periods of time.

Position Information:
