This senior position providestechnicalanalysisdesign and developmentleadership within theReporting and Analytics team in the system office ITS division.The Reporting and Analytics team manages the Minnesota State system-wide Reporting and Analytics platform which provides data warehousing operational reporting system-wide dashboards and business intelligence services.This position is responsible for recommending andleadingtheadoptiondesign and developmentof technicalsolutionsandservicesmanagingprojects that design and construct solutionsto fulfilthe requirements of business partnersand designingand developingtechnical solutionsincludingoperational reportingbusiness intelligence reportingand analyticssothatMinnesota State stakeholders of all types are provided timely accurate and meaningful business intelligence reporting andanalytics.
Salary Range:
$37.07 - $61.14/hourly ($77402 - $127660/annually)
Minimum Qualifications
Five (5)years ofexperience working in information technology or relatedareamanaging requirements developing business intelligence data models and developingbusiness intelligence solutions.A bachelors degree in IT computer science ormanagement relatedfield may substitute for one year of experience.
Three (3) years of experience designing developing and supporting technical data warehousing components such as database schemas and objects stored procedures integrations and ETL processes.
Successworking in closerelationshipswith business partners in designing and delivering solutions that implementrequirementsofdiverse stakeholders.
Experience withproject managementprinciples sufficient toassistin planningprojectsdevelopingwork plansandgoals and monitoring project progress.
Effective written and verbal communicationsufficienttoensureclearaccurateconciseandtimelycommunicationsbetween team members and all stakeholders.
Preferred Qualification
Experience working with a geographically dispersed team.
Experience with Microsofts business intelligence and reporting products.
Experience working in highereducationmanaging requirements and developing business intelligence data models and solutions.
