Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain FPGA-based embedded systems for advanced imaging and sensing applications.
- Implement and optimize filter algorithms for image processing on FPGA platforms.
- Refactor and manage large legacy codebases ensuring long-term maintainability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test FPGA solutions.
- Participate in code reviews share best practices and mentor peers.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes tools and workflows.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in FPGA development and digital design.
- Proficiency in VHDL SystemVerilog and scripting languages such as Python and Shell/Bash.
- Hands-on experience with AMD/Xilinx toolchain (Vivado) and FPGA families (Series 7 UltraScale).
- Strong background in embedded systems development.
- Ability to develop and optimize image processing algorithms for FPGA.
- Comfortable working with large legacy codebases and performing refactoring.
- Familiarity with MATLAB for modeling and simulation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Quest simulation tools including code coverage.
- Knowledge of Simulink/Vitis Model Composer.
- Familiarity with Linux/Debian environments.
- Experience with Jenkins Make and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Security Clearance
- Must have a valid work visa for Sweden and pass a security background check.
