Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager

The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager is accountable for both people management and RN-level nursing care. Under the direction of the Executive Director the WelbeHealth Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager directs theday-to-dayworkat the clinic oversees the clinic staff and coordinatesclinic flowto ensure effective WelbeHealth clinical services are provided and quality ofcarestandards are met.

Essential Job Duties:

• Provide leadership oversight and performance management to RN LVN and MA roles ensuring all have role clarity and required training to perform their functions at the top of their license
• Oversee clinic function and clinical needs in the center to ensure chronic and acute needs of participants are addressed properly as well as liaise with the Complex Care team onsmooth transitions of care to meet post-discharge needs
• Implement and enforce workforce plans and ensure appropriate staffing recognizing the diverse experience levels of staff members and the unique needs of participants
• Participate actively in direct participant care to ensure needs are met practicing within the RN level of care
• Effectively intercede with participants and their families resolvingconcerns related to the delivery of health care services
• Exercises flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with unencumbered RN license with which you practice required; bachelors degree (BSN) preferred
• Five (5) years of nursing experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population preferred
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated aptitude to mentor and develop team members preferred
• Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills in settings with seniors their families and interdisciplinary team members
• Experience leading in a data-driven organization leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evening nights weekends and overtime
