This role combines technical expertise with continuous improvement skills to ensure efficient production processes quality standards and lean transformation goals.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Execute special projects assigned by Engineering Quality or OpEx leadership.
- Analyze production data scrap issues test logs and productivity metrics; recommend corrective actions and improvement ideas.
- Develop and maintain assembly procedures operational sheets and work instructions.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance as directed.
- Support lean initiatives including Kaizen events 5S and waste reduction projects.
- Initiate and create production procedures including SOPs
- Evaluate parts/components using quality control methods and equipment.
- Compile and print dispatch reports; determine bill of materials for assembly analysis.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
- Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately.
- Train and assist team members on manufacturing processes and lean practices.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering; alternatively an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience or 5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of basic electricity hydraulics pneumatics
- Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to set up and operate a variety of assembly and test equipment within the prescribed procedures and standards
- Ability to teach and train others as needed.
- Familiarity with lean tools and techniques (e.g. 5S value stream mapping).
- Developing procedures and work instructions
- Team-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills.
Physical Demand:
- While performing duties you may be required to stand walk stoop bend twist and/or lift up to 40 pounds throughout an entire shift. May be required to work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week based on production needs.
- Exposed to manufacturing plant conditions and elements including but not limited to noise dust dirt oil and grease.
- PPEs will be required including safety glasses ear plugs hand protection and/or safety shoes.
- May be required to work at different workstations as determined by business needs.
