Director Financial Planning & Analysis (Manufacturing & M&A exp req) Description
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to add to their team in Rochester NY. Reporting to the CFO you will assist the company with their continued modernization and upcoming M&A efforts. You will own the companys reporting infrastructure helping departments within the company with their data analytics and general reporting efforts. Beyond the bigger-picture strategic projects that youll be driving forward you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and dive into day-to-day hands-on tactical work as it comes across your desk. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the C-Suite Board and Private Equity firm; you will be in a very visible position that has a lot of influence over the future of the company.
Director Financial Planning & Analysis (Manufacturing & M&A exp req) Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly financial and operational reports
Partner with leaders on strategic initiatives and projects
Perform detailed financial analysis; deliver financial reports
Identify trends; provide performance insights
Enhance the companys financial planning and business intelligence tools
Create performance dashboards
Lead budgeting and forecasting process with key stakeholders
Develop presentations for the C-Suite Board and Private Equity firm
Work across departments to align financial plans with organizational goals
Analyze market data and internal trends related to revenue margin growth and cost performance
Support the M&A team
Evaluate acquisition targets conduct financial due diligence
Assist with integration and post-acquisition monitoring
Director Financial Planning & Analysis (Manufacturing & M&A exp req) Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required
8 years of FP&A experience required
1 years management experience required
Manufacturing or industrial industry experience required
M&A exposure required
Business intelligence tools experience required
ERP experience required
