Purpose:
The person hired in this role will support Dovers Supply Chain and Sourcing Organizations by providing analytical expertise support project management activity and manage select supplier relationships. As the candidate grows in knowledge and experience the analyst will be asked to assume greater levels of responsibility for leading strategic sourcing and other supply chain / operations improvement projects and will be considered for other opportunities within Dover Corporation. Experience:

Scope Of Responsibilities:
Identify and drive Indirect Strategic Sourcing initiatives across Indirect Products and Facilities service-related categories.
Serve as a Analyst on complex projects communicating with sponsors directly with limited oversight and developing engagement management stakeholder relationship management risk management and delivery management skills.
Create financial models define data requirements identify assumptions model cost-benefit analysis and structure storyboards to communicate insights and results of analysis.
Support documenting methodologies project assets and tools.
Obtain and analyze market intelligence such as supplier customer and competitor data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Quantitative profile development data analysis and business case development for strategic sourcing projects (supplier research master data market basket analysis pricing analysis etc.).
Execute sourcing initiatives from initial opportunity assessment through supplier engagement and implementation.
Develop skills to create category strategies and communicate direction different levels of the organization including Corporate and Dover Operating Companies (OpCos).
Vendor management of specific supplier relationships.
Develop rapport and confidence of our internal stakeholders and our suppliers to enhance collaboration and improve project adoption.
