Position Summary

We are seeking a Lead Cleaner to oversee the 2nd shift cleaning operations at a theatre venue. This role includes supervising cleaning activities across various areas including a public plaza and public park. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness safety and compliance with union guidelines while leading a team of cleaners.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff during the 2nd shift.
Ensure all assigned areas (including public plaza and park) are maintained to the highest standards.
Assign tasks monitor performance and provide training as needed.
Maintain compliance with union rules and company policies.
Inspect work areas regularly and address any issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with management and team members.
Handle inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Respond to urgent cleaning requests and resolve problems quickly.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory cleaning role; union account experience preferred.
Language: Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures safety standards and equipment use.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
