About Us: Acacia Connection is a leading Employee Assistance Provider dedicated to enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of thousands of employees and their families. We offer exceptional counselling services and support for personal and work-related issues that impact wellbeing work performance safety morale and psychological health. Our services are delivered nationwide both in person and via telephone by qualified mental health professionals.

We are looking for experienced Psychologists or Social Workers to join our team. Due to an increase in demand for psychology and mental health services we have part-time positions (minimum 3 days and full time considered) available in Brisbane. These roles will be hybrid roles with a mix of in-office onsite at customer locations and at-home delivering telehealth.

What Were Looking For:

To thrive in this role you need a blend of compassion professional knowledge and experience.

  • Critical Incident Response Experience: must have experience in critical incident and significant event responses and a strong understanding of Psychological First Aid.
  • Experience in mental health risk assessment and risk management via telehealth.
  • Training in Mental Health First Aid is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to Quality: Work within a growing organisation focused on maintaining high-quality support services and improving mental health and wellbeing.
  • Attention to Detail: Manage the intricacies associated with multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Client Focus: Ensure solutions are always in the best interests of clients.
  • Self-Motivation: Manage your workload effectively while maintaining quality care.
  • Versatility: Provide a mix of face-to-face services and telehealth with opportunities for a blended work role (office/home) based on need and demand.

Please note this role involves travel to provide onsite support at customer locations across Queensland and New South Wales.

Your Contributions:

  • Qualifications: AHPRA registered psychologists or AASW Social Workers with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Counselling Skills: Proficient in evidence-based frameworks with demonstrated competency in providing psychological services for a broad range of clients and concerns.
  • Critical Incident Response: Experience in providing critical incident response to workplaces is desirable.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional planning and organisational abilities with the capacity to self-manage and work autonomously.
  • Tech Savvy: Confidence in using technology and an IT case management system.
