Job Description

Responsible for collaborating with relationship management and banking teams to develop and implement business development strategies and tactics that drive new capital market business opportunities with existing and new borrower customers. Develop and implement marketing and account servicing plans. Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements marketing and account servicing plans.
  • Recommends deal structures and support origination management responsibilities.
  • Liaises with Relationship Managers Credit Approval Group and other institutions.
  • Conducts in-depth research on new markets and industry changes.
  • Develops and pitches complex financing strategies to customers.
  • Provides training support to other staff.
  • Work with the Syndicate Sales and Investor Admin Agency teams in addressing investor needs while providing guidance and supervision of junior analysts and associates.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree required

Work Experience

  • 6 years of experience in banking or financial services or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required
  • Prior Experience in inter-creditor agreements syndications and loan participations required
  • Prior Experience in the agriculture and/or infrastructure industry required
  • Prior experience negotiating acceptable structures on large complex credits.
  • Intermediate knowledge of non-recourse and structured financing techniques.
  • Intermediate knowledge of regional and national regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience in cross-marketing.
  • Intermediate leadership skills and ability to work independently.
  • Advanced business acumen and decision-making skills.

About CoBank

The typical base pay range for this role is between $119200 - $146640. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge skills expertise and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
